STA és un grup de supervivència i llarg recorregut influït per la música jamaicana, especialitzat el dub instrumental, el sun ra i el free jazz. Amb un estil propi i un enfocament creatiu, dins el gènere, STA crea ritmes hipnòtics i efectes de so espacials i experimentant amb textures sonores, creant un ambient envoltant i sovint psicodèlic, creant paisatges sonors únics. “Hay algo de mostrarnos desnudos y con errores en todo lo que hacemos, y esto nos sale de manera natural, quizás lo más importante sea abrazar esta idiosincrasia y hacernos cargo.”
