Sovint la idea de Mediterrani és sinònim de contemplació, llibertat i gaudir. Però és, alhora, un lloc de trànsit, fronteres i conflicte.

Des d'aquesta ambivalència, ‘The Opposite Sea’ ens convida a qüestionar la forma amb què mirem aquest mar, i com hem anat construint l'imaginari migratori que el travessa des d'una perspectiva normativa i hegemònica.

Una instal·lació hipnòtica construïda a partir de la repetició d'imatges del mar que ens endinsa en els moviments de les seves aigües i ens arrossega a la deriva confrontant-nos a la pregunta: què significa el lloc oposat del mar? I si aquest existeix, com podríem habitar-lo?
