L'Hospital Sant Joan de Déu, amb el suport de la Fundació Leo Messi, la Fundació del FC Barcelona i l'escola de negocis IESE, ha impulsat una campanya de recaptació de fons.
L'obtectiu de la campanya és recaptar els 30 milions que costarà la construcció d'un centre per al tractament i la recerca del càncer infantil. Un centre oncològic infantil sense ànim de lucre. Obert al món, al servei de tots els nens amb càncer. El centre d'oncologia més gran d'Europa i el tercer del món, ubicata a tocar de l'hospital Sant Joan de Déu.
