El caràcter cinematogràfic de l’obra en solitari de Barry Adamson és inconfusible: cada àlbum és la banda sonora d’una pel·lícula imaginària. El 14 de juny, el músic i compositor britànic amb més de quaranta anys de trajectòria estarà a Caprichos de Apolo per presentar el seu desè disc "Cut to Black”, que estrenarà el 17 de maig.

Gairebé vint anys del seu primer pas per Barcelona, quan va actuar al festival Primavera sound el 2007, torna a la ciutat, i per primer cop en una sala de concerts, amb un nou directe carregat de magnetisme.

Adamson ja ha fet un primer avançament: “The last words of Sam Cooke”, en homenatge al considerat el pare del soul i defensor dels drets civils als Estats Units que va ser assassinat el 1964.
