Esquerdats are the castells team (colla castellera) from the Esquerra de l’Eixample neighborhood. They were founded in 2018 as a community initiative to bring local residents closer to Catalan popular culture. Their uniform consists of a purple shirt, white trousers, and a black sash. They have successfully completed a 4 of 6 and a 3 of 6 with a needle (agulla).

In 2019, they joined the Coordinadora de Colles Castelleres de Catalunya (Coordination Committee of Castells Teams in Catalonia). They were sponsored by the Xicots de Vilafranca and the Castellers de Castellar del Vallès. In 2022, during the Santa Eulàlia celebration, they performed three pillars of 4, one of which had a core made up entirely of women from the team.
