This vibrant cultural centre, a space for gathering and creation, is committed to bringing together multiple artistic disciplines to foster collective knowledge and networks of collaboration —all from an Afro-centred and Afrofeminist perspective.

In this edition of the Grec Festival of Barcelona, they propose a dramatized reading of the catalan translation of the text by Silvia Albert Sopale Mahmud y no solo Mahmud, a real story explained with words, acrobatics, and songs that tells us about a young Senegalese who leaves his hometown in search of work in the neighboring country, where a civil war breaks out.

The journey becomes a nightmare due to the consequences of colonialism, the lack of legal avenues for safe mobility due to European funding to countries like Niger and Morocco for the control of migratory movement, labor exploitation, and racism.
