Ticket sales terms and conditions

The sales terms and conditions are specific to each venue. Check them during the purchasing process or through the venue’s information channels.

Purchasing tickets for performances at Teatre Grec, Mercat de les Flors, Teatre Lliure (Montjuïc and Gràcia), Teatre CCCB, Jardí Botànic, and the Santuari de la Mare de Déu del Carme in Barcelona implies acceptance of the following terms and conditions:

  • The Festival organisers do not guarantee the authenticity of tickets that were not purchased at official sales points.
  • No refunds are allowed, except in case of event cancellation. A single exchange per ticket is allowed up to 10 days before the event. This exchange has an additional cost of €2, and any price difference between shows will not be refunded.
  • If the location or date of a performance must be changed, ticket purchasers will be informed via email with instructions on how to exchange the tickets.
  • If the new location or date is not convenient for the purchaser, or if the event is cancelled before it begins, the ticket price will be refunded using the original payment method between 48 business hours following the cancellation date and one month after the date when the event was meant to take place. If the performance is cancelled more than 30 minutes after it has started, no refund will be issued.
  • Tickets will be sold at the OCCU box office, through the terminal for the operator of each show. In some cases, this may involve several waiting turns.
  • The duration of each show is stated by the company during the rehearsal period. Once this period ends, in some cases the duration of shows may differ from what is indicated in the programme.
  • As a sign of respect for the performers and the audience, latecomers will not be allowed entry into the performance until an appropriate moment during the show, as indicated by the person in charge of the venue. No access to theatre halls is allowed for shows that have no interval.
  • Audience members who arrive late may not be able to access their seats in venues with numbered seats.
  • Discounts cannot be combined.
  • For tickets purchased with discounts, proof of eligibility may be requested for access to the venue. If the applied discount cannot be validated, the difference must be paid at the box office.
