Pablo Molina
Part circus, part dance, and part theatre, this creation combines horror and comedy in a unique, intimate experience. The protagonist will guide us through the hidden corners of his home, offering a deep dive into his mind.
In this multidisciplinary work, the protagonist encounters surreal situations where everyday objects and memories come alive, trapping him in a world of disorder and confusion. The house’s physical layout mirrors his psychological state, highlighting how interior spaces can reflect the intricacies of his mind. This comparison underscores the individual’s internal battle and his quest for understanding within a chaotic world. The house serves as a metaphor for the mind, with each room representing different facets of the psyche. The human mind is portrayed as a disorienting, unexplored space, filled with dark corners that can feel threatening. Alienation and the inability to escape one’s mental limitations are core themes of the work, in which the artist explores the link between physical spaces and mental states, suggesting that understanding one requires delving into the other.
A creation by Pablo Molina, who specialises in upside-down acrobatics, contortion, dance, and theatre. His creative work involves the fusion of these arts to create a unique language.
Born in Reus, he trained at the Le Lido Professional Circus School in Toulouse. He is the co-creator of Random, the first Catalan circus company to win an award at the international Circus Next platform in 2019.
