Perdón

Mercat de les Flors  -  Sala Ovidi Montllor
July 5 and 6
Tickets
Premiere in Barcelona

Is it dance, or just two people moving until they lose their minds? Come and see a performance that presents itself as a declaration of both love and hatred towards dance.

Hearts, desires, pain, smoke, techno, gunshots, darkness, betrayal… and some elastic bands. You’ll find all this in a stage production by a movement-focused collective who explore the limits of artistic creation in a piece that speaks about the artist’s freedom, their relationship with the audience, the feeling of discomfort and how boundaries and borders can be ideal territories for cultivating surprise and provocation. You will see distorted faces and hear gunshots and fire extinguishers in the darkness of a theatre, which (you have been warned) you will enter by touch—or almost.

This is the latest show by the artistic duo Luis García and Pere Joseph, Losinformalls. Founded in 2019, this company shifts between dance, theatre and unknown terrain, unafraid of risk. Perhaps you’ve already seen them in performances such as Entrañas con patatas  [Tripe with Potatoes] (2020), Aperitivo [Appetiser] (2021), or ESO (2021), intimate and sensitive creations that combine movement, humour and social agitation, and that have already appeared at festivals and venues such as Mercat de les Flors, Teatre Lliure - Cicle Katharsis, Danseu Festival and Temporada Alta.

A co-production by Losinformalls, Danseu Festival and Sånafest.

In collaboration with: Teatre Lliure, Graner centre de creació, Ateneu Popular 9Barris, L’animal a l’Esquena, Roca Umbert Fàbrica de les Arts, Teatre Municipal de Girona.

With the support of: Department of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
