Mobility plan for the progressive return of FC Barcelona to the Spotify Camp Nou

Mobility in Les Corts during the return of Football Club Barcelona to the Spotify Camp Nou

During the opening phases of the Spotify Camp Nou, a Sustainable Mobility Plan is launched to organize transport and ensure coexistence with local residents, prioritizing sustainable means of transport.

Access for residents to their homes is guaranteed via their usual routes and by any mode of transport. Private vehicle access is restricted on the streets most affected by traffic on match days.

The content of the plan has been developed and debated within the mobility working group of the Espai Barça Monitoring Commission.

First phase of the return

In this first phase of return to the Spotify Camp Nou, the stadium has a capacity of 45,000 spectators. Gradually, the stadium will increase its capacity in subsequent phases until recovering full capacity.

Objectives

Speed up entry and exit

from the stadium, prioritizing public transport and walking

Guarantee residents’ access

to their homes by any means of transport

Preserve pedestrian routes

avoiding improper occupation of sidewalks

Key measures

  • Tourist Bus: buses will go down Pedralbes Avenue and join Diagonal Avenue, without entering the stadium surroundings.
  • Taxis: will have a reserved stopping area.
  • Metro: lines connecting to the stadium are L3, L5, L9S and L10S.
  • Bus: lines connecting to the stadium are 7, 33, 67, 54, H6, H8, V1, V3, V5, D20, 113 and 175 (on weekdays), plus intercity lines.
  • Tram: lines connecting to the stadium are T1, T2 and T3.
  • Bicing: several stations are located around the stadium.

Vehicles heading for the stadium car park must enter via Doctor Marañón Avenue and Aristides Maillol Street.

Mapa d'accés a l’estadi

  • Reduced mobility (PMR): Vehicles for people with reduced mobility (PRM) have a designated parking area at the end of Martí i Franquès Street, as well as in specific zones on Arístides Maillol and Travessera de les Corts.
  • Taxis: Taxi stand is located on Menéndez y Pelayo Street, allowing routes in all directions towards Diagonal Avenue.
  • Motorcycles: In the University Zone (South Campus), more than 2,000 additional spaces will be provided on match days, in addition to the 1,000 permanent ones. This includes the adjacent lot next to Bederrida Park, opened temporarily for motorcycle parking.
  • Coaches: Coaches will drop passengers off at the upper section of Martí i Franquès Street and park at the former Miniestadi site.

Coach operations:

  • Arrival before the match: will occupy one parking lane and one uphill traffic lane on Doctor Marañón Avenue.
  • During the second half: will occupy the mountain-side traffic lane towards Llobregat on Diagonal Avenue to pick up attendees.

This operation will allow residents to circulate in both directions on Doctor Marañón Avenue while preserving the route of TMB bus line V1.

  • Private vehicles: To improve traffic flow among private vehicles, a permanent two-way conversion has been made on Carles Ferrer Street. The two lanes at the roundabout on the road to Torre Melina have also been widened.

Parking is prohibited around Camp Nou, but residents’ access is guaranteed.

Traffic is also restricted on Mejía Lequerica Street, except for authorized vehicles such as residents, parking users, and public services.

The Plan includes restricted access zones with traffic cameras, which will be activated in 2026. Meanwhile, the areas will be marked and controlled by the City Police.

Traffic restrictions on match days

From 2 hours before kick-off until 15 minutes after it has started.

A traffic filter will be in place on Av. Joan XXIII in both directions. Towards the mountainside, from the roundabout with Arístides Maillol, vehicles from the crematorium and those with stadium parking permits will also be permitted access.

From 30 minutes before the end of the match until traffic returns to normal.

No vehicles will be permitted to enter from Pius XII Square, Menéndez y Pelayo, or Doctor Marañón Avenue.

Vehicles accessing from Doctor Salvador Cardenal, Elisabeth Eidenbenz, Menéndez y Pelayo and the car parks within the complex must continue towards Pius XII Square.

Vehicles leaving the car park on the Tribune (G) side may travel along Av. Joan XXIII to Arístides Maillol, towards the sea. Once coach traffic on Av. Doctor Marañón has been cleared, the exit via Av. Joan XXIII will be permitted.
