Sustainable mobility plan for the return to the Spotify Camp Nou

Coinciding with the first FC Barcelona match at the Spotify Camp Nou this Saturday following the work at the stadium, a new sustainable mobility plan comes into effect designed to ensure safe and orderly circulation that respects local residents, with sustainable means of transport taking priority.

Pla de Mobilitat Sostenible als entorns del Camp Nou
21/11/2025 - 13:03 h - Security and prevention

The main goals of the plan are to make getting to and from the stadium a more agile process, prioritising public transport and journeys on foot. At the same time the idea is to guarantee local residents access to their homes by any form of transport and also preserve pedestrian routes to avoid the unnecessary occupation of pavements. The implementation will be gradual, according to the stages for opening the Camp Nou. For this first match, the capacity will be 45,000 spectators, much lower than the 99,000 plus before the work began.

Notable measures in the plan are:

  • Parking will be prohibited in the area around the Camp Nou, with access for local residents and services guaranteed at all times
  • Vehicles heading for the stadium car park can get there using Av. Doctor Marañón and C/ Arístides Maillol
  • Traffic will be restricted in C/ Mejía Lequerica, except for authorised vehicles, local residents and users of car parks and public services
  • An extra 2,000 motorcycle parking spaces will be available on match days in the area around Zona Universitària and the Parc de la Bederrida, on top of the 1,000 permanent spaces
  • Coaches will set down passengers in the upper section of C/ Martí i Franquès, right by Av. Diagonal, and park on the site of the former Miniestadi
  • Taxis will be concentrated at a taxi rank in C/ Menéndez y Pelayo

Public transport

  • Bus Turístic: buses will go down Av. Pedralbes and join Av. Diagonal, without accessing the stadium area.
  • Taxis: will have a reserved area.
  • Metro: the lines connecting with the stadium are: L3, L5, L9S and L10S.
  • Bus: the services connecting with the stadium are: 7, 33, 67, 54, H6, H8, V1, V3, V5, D20, 113 and 175 (working days) and interurban services.
  • Tram: the lines connecting with the stadium are: T1, T2 and T3.
  • Bicing: there are different stations in the area around the stadium.

Traffic disruptions

  • Pre-match

From two hours before kick-off to 15 minutes after, a traffic filter will apply in both directions of Av. Joan XXIII. In the direction of the mountains, from the roundabout with Aristides Maillol, vehicles from the funeral home or with parking badges will be able to access the stadium. This restriction will be in place for 15 minutes once the match starts.

  • Post-match

From 30 minutes before the final whistle until traffic is fully normalised.

    • Vehicles will have no access from Pl. Pius XII, from Menéndez Pelayo or from Av. Doctor Marañón.
    • Vehicles coming from Doctor Salvador Cardenal, Elisabeth Eidenbenz, Menéndez y Pelayo and car parks will have to continue towards Pl. Pius XII.
    • Vehicles leaving the car park on the side of the Tribuna section (G) will be able to circulate using Av. Joan XXIII, in the direction of the sea, and continue along Aristides Maillol. Once the circulation of coaches is freed up in Av. Doctor Marañón, traffic will be able to leave via Av. Joan XXIII, in the direction of the mountains, and continue along Av. Doctor Marañón.
