Obrim Carrers is back every weekend, an initiative that aims to reclaim public spaces for city residents. You will be able to enjoy streets free of traffic, smoke and noise. Enjoy a stroll through these main streets like never before!

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

  • WHAT IS THE OBRIM CARRERS TIMETABLE?

    Obrim Carrers to be held every Saturday and Sunday, at two different timetables depending on time of year:

     

    October - April: from 9 am to 8 pm.

    May - September: 10 am to 9 pm (except July and August, when there is no Obrim Carrers).

     

    The streets in question will be open to pedestrians but not vehicles during these timetables.

  • What can I do in Obrim Carrers?

    Public space is available to you for walking, excercising, playing, enjoying local commerce and more.

     

    On some days, districts, residents’ groups and commercial associations also organise activities in these areas . Enjoy them!

  • CAN CARS AND MOTORBIKES TRAVEL THROUGH?

    To ensure people's safety, traffic will be restricted when Obrim Carrers is held. Only municipal-service and emergency vehicles, loading and unloading vehicles, vehicles belonging to the area's local residents on the way to their private parking, users of pay-as-you-go parking, taxis in emergency cases and vehicles used by people with reduced mobility will be allowed through these streets.

     

    ATTENTION: Local residents will be able to circulate in their vehicles from the intersecting street nearest to their car park. In all cases, people should always follow the instructions issued by traffic assistants on hand in each street.

  • AND BIKES AND SCOOTERS?

    Bikes and scooters are free to circulate, but riders must give priority to people on foot.

     

    These vehicles can circulate at a maximum speed of 10 km/h and must be used responsibly to avoid any possible accidents. If there are crowds, riders must get off their bikes or scooters and continue on foot.

  • WHAT ABOUT BUSES, WILL THEY BE ABLE TO TRAVEL THROUGH?
