The library fulfils the needs of the research centres located on the campus, principally the telecommunications engineering school, the civil engineering school, and the computer science faculty. It has an ongoing commitment to technology that lets it understand, assess and apply the latest trends.

Technological services

Traditional library services are supplemented by access to working group rooms, the loan of devices like e-readers and laptops, calculators, USB sticks, headphones, extensions, and so on. There are also courses to learn how to locate, evaluate and use information in an effective way. There is a physical and virtual u-win area, dedicated to videogames, particularly those created at the university. And through the knowledge access portal UPCommons support is given to anyone in the UPC who authors an academic work.

How do you get access?

To access the library building you need a university card. If you do not possess a card from the UPC or another university that can be read by the access system, it is necessary to fill out a form and show an official ID document whenever you wish to use the facilities. The library opens from Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 9pm.
