Public transport on 11 September 2022 (Catalan National Day)

Metro

Some metro stations may be affected by the high number of users.

The stations expected to be most affected are: Espanya (L1/L3), Urquinaona (L1/L4), Arc de Triomf (L1), Tetuan (L2), Barceloneta (L4), Girona (L4), Jaume I (L4), Paral·lel (L2/L3), Poble Sec (L3), Drassanes (L3) and Liceu (L3).

Bus

There will be disruptions throughout the day due to the concerts being held in Passeig de Lluís Companys. The affected bus lines are:

D50, H14, H16, V15, V17, V19, 19, 47 and 54.

And in the evening, from approximately 4:30 pm to 9 pm, there will be possible disruptions caused by the demonstration, which is being held along the following route: Av. Paral·lel with Tamarit, Av. Paral·lel, Pl. Drassanes, Pg. Josep Carner, Pl. Portal de la Pau, Pg. Colom, Pg. Isabel II, Pla de Palau and Av. Marquès de l’Argentera. The bus lines affected by restrictions or detours will be: D20, D50, H14, H16, V9, V11, V15, V19, 13, 19, 21, 46, 47, 52, 55, 59, 65, 79, 120, 121 and 150, as well as Barcelona Bus Turístic (Red Route).

In the morning there will be a flower offering at the monument to Rafael Casanova. For this reason, the route taken by some bus lines that run along Ronda de Sant Pere will be altered (D50, H16, 62 and 19).
