Observations:
The decision to respect the old trees standing in the Güell estate when, around 1925, it became the Royal Palace and the Royal Gardens, paved the way for the conservation of these monumental trees. At present, the 23 deodar cedars in Pedralbes form a forest area with the richest and most varied trees in shape and age in Barcelona.
