Observations:
This is the only specimen of this exotic South American species that exists in the city’s gardens. Planted by J.C.N. Forestier in an ideal location and well protected by gardeners, it has developed to a large size. This majestic tree becomes spectacular when it comes into flower. This tree is considered to be of aesthetic and botanical interest.
