Sol Picó

Humour has always been an essential element in the shows of Sol Picó, an artist who is taking her talent for a spin at Plaça de Margarida Xirgu during the festival with a fun, festive project that will make you hungry.

The goal is to make a dancer, none other than Sol Picó, fall. Several hopefuls have added their names to a long, long list over the past few days . Who will get Sol Picó to fall? A fellow dancer? An actor? A saxophone player? A pianist?

If you want to find out, come to Plaça de Margarida Xirgu on Friday 28 June and watch the Fight of the Century. And afterwards? Well, then you can sample some products from Alcoi and Burgos. How about a blood sausage, or a plisplaiet drink from Alcoi? Afterwards (10 pm) there will be karaoke and a dance session in the square.

Come back the next day, Saturday, and in addition to Fight of the Century, at 8 pm you’ll find a paella competition, and at 10 pm another karaoke and dance session with very special guests!
