In New Orleans, the main section in a musical parade (even funeral processions) is called the First Line – but the real party begins in the Second Line, made up of those who follow the band to enjoy the music while spinning umbrellas or waving handkerchiefs. This Second Line has just arrived in Barcelona from Manchester, blending the classic sounds of New Orleans with... the legends of 90s club culture, including tracks that once defined the iconic Hacienda – Manchester’s mythical club and a global reference point in the electronic music scene, led at the time by Tony Wilson. This is a rave. A riotous, anarchic street show bursting with colour and a musical delirium like no other. Bring a handkerchief, just in case!
