Show directed and performed by an artist with a disability
Marc uses a wheelchair. He also lives with cerebral palsy and a type of muscle stiffness called ‘spasticity’. From the moment he wakes up and gets dressed to the moment he goes to bed, each day is like an odyssey of challenges to overcome, filled with adventures and situations that are sometimes surreal, sometimes funny. Marc’s story of everyday experiences is both moving and surprising, but above all, a wake-up call.
Spasticity is a personal journey with a clear mission: to raise awareness about diversity. The show sheds light on the reality faced by some people, yet without falling into pity or putting the audience in uncomfortable positions – offering instead a deeply human, positive and humorous perspective.
