On 24 and 25 May 2025, Barcelona will host the first ever F2C World Cup: an international aeromodelling racing competition in the Team Racing category. The event will take place at the Montjuïc circular flight track.

Organised by Aeroclub Barcelona-Sabadell with the support of Barcelona City Council and several international aeronautical federations, the F2C Aeromodelling World Cup now appears in the official calendar of the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI, the governing body for world air sports). The F2C World Cup will count towards the Catalan League and will also serve as a qualifying event for the 2026 Spanish national team.

The competition will feature 23 international teams, with 3 further teams on a standby list. Official training will take place on Friday 23 May, with the qualifying rounds, semi-finals and finals taking place over the weekend of 24-25 May.

The public will have free access to this exciting spectacle characterised by speed, strategy and teamwork. The F2C World Cup reinforces Barcelona’s position as a top venue for competitive aeromodelling at the European level.
