Networking session for professionals and entrepreneurs from Uruguay in Barcelona

The Uruguayan professional and entrepreneurial community in the Barcelona area is becoming increasingly influential and deeply rooted in the city. To further strengthen the links between the community and the city, we are inviting Uruguayan professionals and entrepreneurs to this networking event, organised jointly with the Consulate General of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay in Barcelona.

The event will be in two parts; the first will be a presentation of resources and services by Barcelona City Council and the economic development agency, Barcelona Activa, for the Uruguayan professional and entrepreneurial community.

It will then feature accounts from Uruguayan entrepreneurs who have established themselves successfully in Barcelona. The event will conclude with a dynamic networking session involving all the event's participants and attendees.

PROGRAMME

First part: BARCELONA, A FAVOURABLE ENVIRONMENT FOR URUGUAYAN COMPANIES AND PROFESSIONALS

6:00 pm - 6:15 pm Welcome and presentation by Mr Mario Rubert, the Director for City Promotion at Barcelona City Council, and His Excellency Mr José Pedro Ríos, District Consul of Uruguay in Barcelona.

6:15 pm - 6:30 pm Barcelona International Welcome: resources and services for the Uruguayan community in Barcelona, led by Judith Romera, head of International Talent Support Resources at Barcelona City Council.

6:30 pm - 6:45 pm Barcelona Activa's resources for Uruguayan entrepreneurs and professionals, led by Marc Sans, a City Promotion officer at Barcelona City Council.

Second part: NETWORKING SESSION

6:45 pm - 7:20 pm Success stories from members of the Uruguayan community in Barcelona:
