Argentine women entrepreneurs networking

Argentinians make up one of Barcelona’s largest ex-pat communities and, thanks to their entrepreneurial spirit, are an important asset for the city's economic dynamism. If you’re a woman, Argentinian and an entrepreneur, this is an activity designed for you.

We are joining forces with the Republic of Argentina’s Consulate General and Promotion Centre in Barcelona and calling on women with business ideas and entrepreneurial start-up projects, as well as women directors at recently incorporated companies, to come along to a meeting with representatives from Barcelona Activa and Barcelona City Council to exchange and share knowledge.

There will be a presentation of the resources and activities on offer in the city for promoting the entrepreneurship, professional growth and executive skills of the women participants and a dynamic work and networking space will be set up to share challenges, experiences and knowledge of the entrepreneurial process.

9:30 am - Welcome

• Ms Carolina Bustos, the Republic of Argentina’s Deputy Consul General in Barcelona.
• Mr Mario Rubert, the Director of City Promotion at Barcelona City Council.

9:35 am - Presentation of the LIDERA programme and Barcelona Activa's entrepreneurship support services

• Ms Montse Basora, the Operational Director for Entrepreneurship, Barcelona Activa.

9:50 am - Presentation of the Barcelona International Welcome: activities and services for international talent

• Ms Judith Romera, City Promotion, Barcelona City Council.

10 am - Workshop to exchange experiences and discuss challenges
