The exhibition, organized within the framework of RUSIÑOL YEAR Barcelona 2007, focuses on Mr. Esteve's Auca , a novel whose publication centenary is celebrated this year, and where Rusiñol painted a portrait of the Barcelona of his time with a great critical sense. A selection of texts and images embody the themes closely related to the city and its people, like a literary walk in a dual format, interactive and printed, plus a scenographic presentation in some cases.
The Historical Archives of the City, the Frederic Marès Museum, the Picasso Museum, the Museum of the History of Catalonia, Casa Llotja, the Romea Theater and the Convent of Sant Agustí, are the points of this exhibition-route.
