Services
General information
• At the Information and Public Service Desk located in the Museum's lobby, the staff provides information on all the Museum's services, spaces and programming.
• Directory of the building with orientation plans of the plants, with the contents of the different rooms and the prices of access to the Museum.
• A total of 4 touch screens: in the Courtyard and on floors 0, 1 and 2, where you can consult the main activities and the Museum's website.
• On each floor we find a plan of the distribution and orientation of the space.
Reception area
Reception area at the Museum reception furnished with a table and 4 chairs. Informative panels about the content and history of the Museum. A touch screen with the main activities and the Museum's website can be consulted there. You can also consult the Museum's publications that are displayed in an exhibitor.
Consignment
- 50 passwords. Bags larger than 40 x 40 cm must be stored there.
- 2 folding bike racks.
Resources for the visit
• Audio guides: €1. Available in Catalan, Spanish, French and English. Service not available on free entry days.
• Radio guides: available for groups accompanied by a guide.
• Collector's Cabinet room booklets: reference copies that provide information on the contents of each Cabinet room. Once used, they must be returned to the Museum. Available in Catalan, Spanish and English.

Accessibility
The Frederic Marès Museum is working to implement measures that guarantee universal accessibility to its building and the heritage it preserves for all people with functional diversity.
The Museum participates in the socio-educational program Approach Culture , an inclusive leisure initiative, offering guided tours for groups of people at risk of social exclusion. It also participates in the Estimul'Art program, through which visits are offered to Alzheimer's patients.
Physical accessibility
Access
• The entrance to the Museum, from Carrer al Pati, is accessible via a platform for people in wheelchairs.
• On floor -1 and the Mirador on floor 2 (with access from the Women's Room, room 5 of the Collector's Cabinet), the elevator does not reach there.
Yard
There are a total of 3 (mobile) ramps to bridge the existing unevenness.
Doors
The entrance doors to the Museum are automatic.
The toilet doors are hinged.
Ramps
On the 2nd floor there are some landings that are saved by small (mobile) ramps.
Handrails to access floors -1 and 3.
Information desk
The Information and Public Service Desk has an area adapted for the approach of people using wheelchairs.

• Accessible instructions. Ask at the Information Desk.
Toilets
There are accessible toilets on floors 0 and 1.
Children
• Baby changing facilities on the 1st floor.
• Prams can access the Museum through the Carrer dels Comtes door.
Wheelchair service
The Museum puts 2 wheelchairs at the service of visitors on loan to anyone who requests them.
Elevators
• We have a public elevator with capacity for 4 people with numbering and a visual directory.
• We also have a large-capacity elevator that can be used for groups of people in wheelchairs to make the visit more agile, always accompanied by Museum staff.
Rest areas
On each floor of the Museum there are several benches to rest on.
Folding chairs
There are a total of 25 folding chairs distributed in different rooms of the Museum.
Visual accessibility
Doors
The entrance doors to the Museum are automatic and made of glass and have translucent white vinyl attached. The rest of the glass doors and windows adopt the same system or are identified with a red "dot".
Pigalle dogs
Entry to the Pigall and Assistance Dog Museum is permitted.
Elevators
We have a public lift with capacity for 4 people with numbering and visual directory.
Signaling
Explanatory panels and posters meet the conditions of accessible reading (body, color and typography).
Room notebooks of the Collector's Cabinet
Reference copies that allow information on the contents of each cabinet room. Once used, they must be returned to the Museum. Available in Catalan, Spanish and English.
