The Frederic Marès Museum has cataloged 1,000 books from the year 2023 antiquarian fund of the Documentation and Research Center to facilitate its consultation and dissemination.
The Frederic Marès Museum has cataloged during 2023 a set of books from antiques fund of Documentation and Research Center to facilitate its consultation and dissemination.
They have been cataloged 1,000 copies coming from the personal library of Frederic Marès of which almost one 30% have been registered as novelties .
The library contains special collections where the bookplates or property marks, both of Pere Marès i Oriol, father of the sculptor and collector, and of Frederic Marès i Deulovol himself.
To carry out these tasks, the Frederic Marès Museum has accepted the 2023 grant for collaboration in the preparation of the Collective catalog of the bibliographic heritage of Catalonia .
