Collector papers: "Child's eyes"

Schedule : tuesday to Saturday, from 10 a. m. To 7 p. m.; Sundays and holidays, 11am-8pm; Monday closed, except holidays.

Price : included in the entrance to the Museum (general €4.20 / reduced €2.40).

The Museum preserves some portraits of children by Frederic Marès, made in the first third of the 20th century. They are portraits of his family and friendships such as the bust of his nephew, Josep Marès Ibáñez, which we can see in the Studio-library.

Recently the collection of children's portraits has been increased and enriched with the  donation of the plaster and bronze busts of Tomàs Benet Pessieto's Portrait , donated to the Museum in 2024 by his nieces, Hélène Brieussel Benet and Elena Boissel Benet. Thanks to the research of researchers Ester Baron and Sara Gomà, these two busts were located in 2022.
