Fund of the Frederic Marès Museum / 6, which includes in one only edition the furniture of the Middle Ages and the modern age, previously published, as well as those of the contemporary age , cataloged for the first time. A total of 217 furniture of various periods, styles and typologies, studied by 15 specialists in the field .
In addition, you will find a good number of chests, boxes and chests exposed in the Room 15 on the 1st floor and to the Showcase of the Patio . You will also discover in the Studio-library, on the 2nd floor furniture designed by Frederic Marès in addition to a selection of images and texts that document this artistic facet of the sculptor and collector, who produced a small production of furniture among which two pieces of domestic furniture stand out: a screen and a box, preserved in the Museum and which we can see exhibited in the Studio-library.

The presentation of the catalog took place last Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 6:30 p. m. In Room 14 of the Museum. By the director of the Museum, Salvador García Arnillas, and Mónica Piera, scientific coordinator and author of the publication, in addition to the explanation by Lluïsa Amenós and Ernest Ortoll, some of its authors, of some pieces from the catalog, corresponding to the 19th and 20th centuries.
