A preliminary examination of the work has been carried out using level light, ultraviolet light and observation under a stereoscopic microscope of the remains of polychromy that still remain.
The conservation-restoration interventions have been the following:
• Punctual consolidation of weak elements of the stone support.
• Fixation of the remains of polychromy in danger of detachment.
• Cleaning of the surface dirt with the improvement of the appreciation of the sculptural volume of the piece and the visualization of the remains of polychromy.
