Family documentary fund collected by Ermenter Vélez Valls (Barcelona, 1887 – Olot, 1975), Antoni Ramon González López (La Unión, 1909 – Barcelona, 1980) and Concepció Vélez Serra (Barcelona, 1915-1997) daughter and wife respectively of the above. The fund was donated to the Museum in 2005 by Josep Maria Sánchez Anglès and Jordi Lladó Vilaseca. The donation included sculptures, drawings and albums and a documentary and photographic collection.

Ermenter Vélez Valls (Barcelona, 1887 – Olot, 1975). Sculptor and photographer. He trained at the Escola Superior d'Arts i Indústries i Belles Arts de Barcelona where he would later (1946) become a teacher, in the subject of Stone Carving. He worked for several sculptors and in different cities. In Madrid with Miquel Blay and Pere Estany, in Sant Sebastià I directed the sculptural workshops of the marble artist Tomás Altuna and in Barcelona with Frederic Marès. For a long period he settled in Olot, where he combined his vocation for sculpture with photography, journalism and cinema. His daughter Concepcion also dedicated himself to sculpture, as well as his son-in-law Antoni Ramon González López.
Antoni Ramon González López (La Unión, 1909 – Barcelona, 1980). Sculptor Born in the province of Murcia, he moved to Barcelona at the age of nine, where he studied art at the School of Arts and Crafts and music at the Municipal School of Music. Before turning definitively to sculpture, he frequented the studio of the painter Miquel Soldevila i Valls (1886-1956). He worked with the founder and specialist in artistic reproductions Gabriel Becchini and later with the sculptor Josep Llimona (1864-1934) whose disciple he became. He participated in artistic activity in Barcelona, being part of different associations. It has public works in the streets of Barcelona and in the MNAC. Married to the sculptor Concepció Vélez Serra, and therefore son-in-law of the sculptor Ermenter Vélez.
Concepcion Vélez Serra (Barcelona, 1915-1997). Daughter of the sculptor and photographer Ermenter Vélez Valls, she dedicated herself professionally to sculpture. After the Civil War (1936-1939) he studied at the Escola de Llotja in Barcelona and participated in some exhibitions organized by this institution. Married to fellow sculptor Antoni Ramon González López, her work is little known and limited, basically in private collections.
