Frederic Marès is considered the most outstanding Catalan collector of the 20th century. Among his hobbies, bibliophilia stands out, his passion for books. Thanks to the influence of his father, Pere Marès i Oriol (1856-1915), he obtained one of the most important collections of old books. The Collector's Papers show three books that are part of Frederic Marès' personal library, located in the Studio-library.
