At the Fun room the collections related to leisure and entertainment in Barcelona from the 19th and early 20th centuries are on display, which can be extrapolated to other European cities.
Hundreds of objects remind us of the party and the game, as well as the recreational spaces of that society: toys, board or ingenuity games, operas, concerts, theatrical performances, jousting or circus functions.
The collections explain what the entertainment of children, young people and adults consisted of in a very broad sense, from the private sphere to mass entertainment, and of various contents, from the most cultured to the most popular.
