A reflection on the popular festival in nineteenth-century Barcelona based on the study of cultural associationism and especially of two of the great recreational organizations of the time: La Societat del Born (1858-1873) and El Niu Guerrer (1874-1936).
The exhibition is a small sample of the more than 1,500 documents inventoried and studied that attest to the phenomenon of collective parody and irony and the doses of irreverence of citizens critical of the established order.
