Synopsis
Mowgli is a boy who has been brought up in the jungle in the company of wolves and other wild animals. Shere Khan, the most evil tiger in the jungle, learns of his existence and wants to kill him. The black panther Bagheera decides to protect the boy by taking him to a human village, but Baloo, a bear who becomes Mowgli’s friend, confronts Bagheera thinking that he will be able to protect him from the tiger.
Mowgli must decide whether to stay with his jungle family or to go and live with other humans.

En Mowgli és un nen que s'ha criat a la selva en companyia dels llops i altres animals salvatges. Quan Shere Kan, el tigre més malvat de la jungla, s'assabenta de la seva presència, es proposa matar-lo, donat l'odi profund que sent per l'espècie humana . La pantera negra, Bagheera, decideix protegir-lo portant-lo al poblat dels homes, però Baloo, un ós que es farà amic d'en Mowgli, s'enfronta a Bagheera pensant que ell el podrà protegir del tigre. Mowgli ha de decidir entre quedar-se amb la seva família de la selva o anar a viure amb els seus congèneres humans?
