Observations:
Phoenix canariensis is a common palm species in Barcelona. This tree, however, has the peculiarity of standing in a private patio in the centre of the district of el Raval, on the site of an old dairy. This palm tree has witnessed the history of the district, and stands alone among a sea of houses.
