Narrow-leafed ash

Carrer de Tàrrega, 41

Observations:
From historical times and well into the present century, the narrow-leafed ash, together with other deciduous trees, formed large dense riverside forests along the Besòs river. These have now completely disappeared, engulfed by towns and cities even beyond the municipal areas. The tree in Carrer Tàrrega stands alone, and is possibly the only specimen left from the old, long gone forest areas.
