Berlandier ash

Plaça de Gal·la Placídia, 16

Observations: There are two wild species of ash which spread throughout the continent to Central and Northern Europe and the Mediterranean region, always in deciduous forests on riversides or mountains. The American ash, with its markedly different appearance and morphology stands out for its elegance. Cultivated in small numbers exclusively as an ornamental tree, it evokes striking images of far away exotic landscapes.
