Observations:
Ginkgo biloba is considered a sacred species in Japan. It is native to cold climates, and specimens of Ginkgo biloba are not very frequent in the flora of Barcelona, although on Via Augusta they can be found lining the street. This large single specimen is considered interesting and has been catalogued as a Tree of Local Interest.
