Observations: Although there are only a few specimens, the London planes standing on Carrer Pere IV stand in the place of an old avenue of trees on either side of the old Mataró Road. Survivors of massive cutting, the passing of the years has made these specimens the largest in the city’s public areas. Branching out at a low height, the thick branches – today moderately pruned- show their enormous potential of crown.
