Observations:
Planted initially in a group in Plaça de la Universitat as a shield behind the monument to Doctor Robert, these palms withstood the construction works of the metro in 1925, but were uprooted when the network and the railway stations were remodelled. Transplanted successfully, today they stand on the modern Diagonal, at Plaça Francesc Macià at the junction with Avinguda de Sarrià.
