Fly me to the moon
For all audiences
A flying bicycle, wood, iron, dust, large shoes and hats down to the eyebrows. This is the luggage of two clowns who want to launch themselves from Parc de Joan Miró ... up to the moon! Fly me to the moon is the exploit of visionaries, or in this case, the two naive characters who won’t give up on their dreams, however impossible they might seem.
Leandre Ribera and Laura Miralbés are the travellers who want to soar through the sky pedalling a bicycle. Disastrous, poetic skywalkers, this pair of dreamers will take the audience to the moon and sun, to that light, happy place that everyone knew so well as a child. For more than thirty years, Leandre Clown have been touring the world with humour inspired by silent movies, mime, gesture theatre and the absurd. A hugely successful career that has made them one of the leading street theatre acts and some of the best contemporary clowns around.
In a fast-paced world where everything is rushed, a clown show can serve as a pause, a moment of sunshine. Fly me to the moon aims to be just that, a moment full of simple pleasures, such as laughter, listening, surprise and playfulness. A gift for the senses.
Duration: 50 minutes.
