Traffic disruptions due to the Breakfast Run
Saturday 9 March: the race on the day before the Barcelona Marathon is being held in Montjuïc: traffic is prohibited from 9 to 11 am.
Workers will begin setting up the Breakfast Run installations at 7:30 am, in Plaça de Josep Puig i Cadafalch. The race starts at 9 am, heading towards Carrer de la Guàrdia Urbana, passing along Passeig de Santa Madrona, the paved road behind the Museum of Archaeology and the Cartographic and Geological Institute of Catalonia, Passeig de Jean Forestier, the paved road behind Hall 7, the pathway inside Poble Espanyol, the underpass at Avinguda dels Montanyans, the La Foixarda pathway and tunnel, the Polvorí and Avinguda de Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia, before returning to the Magic Fountain and the square behind the columns designed by Josep Puig i Cadafalch. Driving or moving vehicles between 9 and 11 am is prohibited, throughout the route.
